  • 1 – month Program / Cost: 450.00 US Dollars

Leisure Activities

Our programs are designed to provide a rewarding and meaningful experience for volunteers, combining volunteer activities with opportunities for learning and adventure in the beautiful setting of central Peru.

Cultural Activities:

  • Visit Andean villages to learn about their way of life.
  • Learn agricultural and artisanal activities.
  • Cooking classes on traditional Peruvian dishes and typical dances.

Sports Activities:

  • Excursions and hikes through mountains and jungles.
  • Adventure sports like trekking.

Tourist Activities:

  • Visit historical and archaeological sites.
  • Tours of natural areas, including nature reserves.
  • Participate in local festivals and cultural events.
 

Requirements:

To ensure a positive and effective experience for both the volunteers and the communities we serve, we have established a list of qualities and requirements that candidates interested in joining our volunteer programs in Peru must meet.

Age:

  • Minimum: 18 years old.
  • Maximum: No age limit, as long as the volunteer is in good physical and mental condition to carry out the planned activities.

Language:

  • Spanish Level: Intermediate, sufficient to communicate with beneficiaries and the local team.
 

Personal Qualities:

Commitment: A strong desire to help and contribute positively to the community.

Empathy: The ability to understand and share the feelings of people in vulnerable situations.

Flexibility:

  • Ability to adapt to different circumstances and environments.
  • Willingness to work on diverse and sometimes challenging tasks.

Resilience: The ability to face and overcome difficult or stressful situations.

Responsibility: A proactive and reliable attitude to fulfill assigned tasks and schedules.

Our organization will provide

Here’s a detailed list of what we will provide to ensure a safe, comfortable, and productive stay:

Accommodation: Volunteer House:

  • Shared rooms with other volunteers (beds and pillows provided).
  • Comfortable common areas for socializing and relaxation.
  • Access to basic services: electricity, drinking water.
  • Bathroom with hot water.
  • Wi-Fi connection.
  • Everything needed for volunteers to prepare their own meals.

Transportation:

  • Transfers to and from the airport at the start and end of the program.
 

Solidarity Activities:

Planning and Coordination:

  • Detailed program of solidarity activities.
  • Local advisors and coordinators with experience in volunteer management.

Continuous Guidance:

  • Initial orientation and informational sessions about the activities and expectations.
  • Ongoing supervision and support from the organization’s staff.

Complementary Activities:

  • Touristic, Recreational, and Sports Activities: Planning and organization of all complementary activities.
  • Monitors and Guides: Local tour guides for visits to historical, archaeological, and cultural sites.

Fund Allocation

The payment made by volunteers not only covers the services and needs during their stay but also contributes to the ongoing operation and success of our social programs. This ensures that we can continue providing support to the most vulnerable communities in Peru while offering a rewarding and well-organized experience for volunteers.

Administrative Expenses:

  • Program management and administration costs.
  • Maintenance of facilities and equipment.

Operational Expenses:

  • Salaries of coordinators and local staff.
  • Transportation and logistics costs.

Logistical Expenses:

  • Organization and planning of activities.
  • Materials and resources necessary for the activities.

Support for Social Programs:

  • A percentage of the payment is directly allocated to the social programs we work on.
  • Support for local initiatives to improve the quality of life of vulnerable communities.
